Maple Syrup Pie

History: While Le Cellier still exists, this pie is no longer on a menu. It's a shame too, because it's amazing!
Think amazing pecan pie meets maple syrup and you have this pie. It is sssoooooo good. I'm attaching the recipe for you because it's just that good. 5 mickeys for sure!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter 4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup heavy maple syrup 1 1/4 cups pecans
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1 9-inch pie shell
1/8 teaspoon salt Sweetened whipped cream
(1 T sugar + 1 C whipping cream)
Blend together butter, maple syrup, brown sugar and alt. Stir in eggs, mixing until well blended. Add pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes until firm. Serve topped with sweetened whipped cream.
