Contemporary French Toast

So...this picture doesn't look quite right because I forgot a step until later. I forgot to dunk the freshly made toast in the powdered sugar. I remembered a few minutes later AFTER I had buttered mine...oops. So I picked it up, dipped it, and snapped a fast picture. I'm sure the real thing is prettier :-)

Easy to make and good. The sourdough bread gives it a nice kick to offset the sweet. I used a light sourdough, a choice I would make again. The last time I used regular sourdough for french toast it was a bit overpowering. The light stuff is perfect. 4 mickeys!
